Registration Information
Babies First Mondays at 1:00 p.m. for 08/09 birthdays Begins Monday, October 20th... We may change the time of this group at a later date. For the pre-natal parent and parents of children up to one year old. Learn what to expect in the first year. Topics include nursing, feeding, sleeping habits, children's dental health, brain development and much more. $30/month see fee schedule below.
Playgroups Multi age group on Tuesdays at 1:00 p.m. for any age Kid's Time on Thursdays at 10:00 a.m. '05/'04/'03 birthdays Tyke Time on Fridays 9:30 a.m. for '06 birthdays Groups are for caregiver and child up to age 5. Circle time, music, crafts and stories. Weekly theme. Groups meet once a week and are arranged by age. $30.00 a month. See fee schedule below.
Spanish Immersion Playgroup Wednesdays at 10:00 a.m. ages 2 and up or Thursdays at 11:15 a.m. ages 2 and up We are now accepting registrations for the next session of Spanish Playgroup. Space is limited so register early! Click here for registration form. Session 2: Ten weeks starting the week of December 1 through the week of February 25th. (no class Dec 24, 25, 31,Jan 1, Feb 18, 19) Session 3: Ten weeks starting the week of March 18th through the week of May 10th (no class April 15, 16)
Playgroup style fun that engages bi-lingual learning. For caregiver and child age 2 and up. This group is led by Ivette Font who is from Puerto Rico and now lives in Connecticut. Mrs. Font is the mother of two boys and was an elementary school teacher in Puerto Rico. Her teaching experience includes preschool, grades two and four, and tutoring. LYSB is pleased to offer this new group for our community. $120.00 for 10 week session, $60 for the second child age 2 and up. Call with any questions about this program 434-7208 x207. Playgroup Fees The fee for Babies First & Playgroups is $270.00 ($30/month) to anyone who enrolls. No extra charge for siblings. Playgroup fees reflect Sept. to May programming. Summer groups may incur additional charges.
For your convenience, the following payment options are available: Plan A One time Payment; due upon registration and reflects a 5% discount, $256.50. Plan B Half & half ; due with initial registration and then again the first week in January, $135.00. Plan C Monthly; $30.00 due with initial registration and then each month Oct. - May.
Spanish Immersion Playgroup will run in 10 week sessions. The cost is 120/child per 10 week session. $60 for additional child age 2 and up.
Checks should be made out to LYSB. We do not take credit cards at this time. Fee schedules for additional programming varies and should be paid when registering. See Menu of Services for details.
Born to Learn Programs (with exception of home visits) are open to anyone who wishes to enroll. However, when space is limited, and first preference is given to Lyme/Old Lyme residents. Registration will begin on August 18, 2008. Every consideration has been taken by the Lymes’ Youth Service Bureau to bring your family quality programming at the lowest cost possible. We ask that you make a regular financial commitment. Please plan to make at least one payment when enrolling. Scholarships and sliding fees are occasionally available to Lyme/Old Lyme residents. All playgroup fees reflect time missed for scheduled and personal holidays, vacations and absence due to illness.
